Partners for Progress believes St. Charles County residents will excel in basic and challenging academic skills and knowledge. St. Charles County values an educated citizenry that is well prepared for work and for participation in democracy and community life.
Education is the foundation on which a community grows. An area’s education level both directly and indirectly impacts all of the other Partners for Progress indicators including: economic achievement, health care accessibility, and LifeScape opportunities. Missouri requires students to pass basic tests in reading, writing and mathematics and challenge them to meet the “high standards” in four learning areas, ranging from science to the arts. It is the goal of Partners for Progress to help St. Charles County citizens achieve high standards such as these.
PFP Designated Key Education Measures:

PfP METS Initiative
Partners for Progress has established a METS (Math, Engineering, Technology and Science) Initiative to build a more skilled future workforce to combat the current shortage of Technology and Science majors and to influence a change in culture.
The Robotics Showcase is the cornerstone of this initiative, and PfP is committed to supporting robotics teams for middle and high school students. PfP is hosting the event on Thursday, August 28, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Charles Community College. Learn more details here.
